Emailing a lead through Brokerkit is an excellent way to manage your contacts, keep your notes in order, and streamline your process. And don't worry - Brokerkit emails are sent from your Gmail or Microsoft address, so there's no confusion as to who the lead is talking to.
From the Recruiting or Retention screen, select an agent to open their profile. Along the top action bar, click Email.
Most of this should look familiar - enter a Subject that's sure to catch your lead's attention, write the Body of your message, and use the Style Icon to adjust formatting. A few things we should cover:
- In the Select a Template drop-down, you can apply a pre-made template or click Create New Template to save the email you're currently working on as a template. Click here to learn more about creating and managing email templates.
- The Status drop-down menu lets you adjust and track your progress, and appears on every action you take with a lead.
- Anytime you take an action with a lead, Brokerkit will require you to set up a Follow-Up date. Trust us, this is for your own good - no one ever crushed their recruiting goals by letting people slip through the cracks.
- By default, emails to your leads are Shared with the referrer. You can toggle this to Staff Only if you need to send sensitive information.
One of the great features of Brokerkit is our integration with Google or Microsoft, so once you send an email, the status of the lead is automatically updated and you'll see the email in your Gmail/Outlook Sent folder.
